Mumbai lift Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the second time beating Madhya Pradesh by 5 wickets. Mumbai chased down 175 run target set by Madhya Pradesh in 17.5 overs with 5 wickets remaining.

Suryansh Shedge (36* runs from 15 balls) scintillating innings including 3 fours and 3 sixes and Atharva Ankolekar (16* runs from 6 balls) partnership of 51 runs from just 19 balls helps Mumbai to reach the target after the fall of Suryakumar Yadhav for 48 in 14.4 overs.

Madhya Pradesh captain Rajat Patidar outstanding innings of 81* runs from just 40 balls including 6 fours and 6 sixes helped them to reach 174/8 in 20 overs. Subhranshu Senapati scored 23 runs from 17 balls and Rahul Batham scored 19 runs from 14 balls.

Royston Dias (2/32 in 3 overs) , Shardul Thakur (2/41 in 4 overs) , Atharva Ankolekar (1/19 in 4 overs) , Shivam Dube (1/27 in 4 overs) and Suryansh Shedge (1/32 in 3 overs) are the wicket takers for Mumbai.

Chasing 175 run target Mumbai lost their opener Prithvi Shaw (10 runs from 6 balls) early. Ajinkya Rahane (37 runs from 30 balls) and Suryakumar Yadhav (48 runs from 35 balls) put them in the game before Suryansh Shedge and Atharva Ankolekar partnership help them to cross the line.
