India outclass Srilanka by 60 runs and enter in to the Super 6 stage of ICC U-19 Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. After setting 119 run target India restricted Srilanka to 58/9 in 20 overs.
Opener Gongadi Trisha (49 runs from 44 balls) innings including 5 fours and 1 six stretched India to 118/9 in 20 overs. Mithila Vinod (16 runs from 10 balls) , V.J.Joshitha (14 runs from 9 balls) and Niki Prasad (11 runs from 14 balls) are the other top scorers.

Chasing 119 Srilanka lose half of their side for just 12 runs inside 5 overs. Rashmika Sewwandi (15 runs from 12 balls) is the only batter in the Srilankan line up reached the double digit score.
