Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shortlisted Baroda and Lucknow as potential venues for third edition of Women’s Premier League. WPL is all set to take place in two phases across two cities as per Cricbuzz report.
Most probably Lucknow will host first phase of the tournament and Baroda will host second phase including final.

Baroda’s newly inaugurated Kotambi stadium has garnered attention for its International standard facilities recently. The stadium recently hosted India women’s ODI against West Indies.
Third edition of the tournament will host 23 games including knockout and final. The season likely to kick off during first week of February and final around March 8 or 9.
In 2023 Mumbai and Navi Mumbai hosted the entire tournament , whereas Bengaluru and New Delhi were the hosts last year.

Last year Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets and won the title.
