International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that Champions Trophy 2025 will be held in hybrid model and neutral venues. All India – Pakistan games in 2024-27 ICC events cycle will be played at neutral venues.

With this move India vs Pakistan games in 2025 Champions Trophy , 2025 Women’s World Cup in India and the 2026 Men’s T20 World cup in India and Srilanka will be played at neutral venues.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refused to travel to Pakistan citing safety concerns as primary reason. The neutral venue arrangements are designed to ensure smooth logistical operations and safety for all teams and fans.

UAE or Srilanka will be the neutral country for the 2025 Champions Trophy. The ICC said final schedule will be announced soon.

In last edition of the tournament held in 2017 which Pakistan beat India in the final by 180 runs. 2025 edition is going to be the first time the tournament will be held in Pakistan.

The tournament will kick start from 19 February and final will be played on 9 March 2025. It will be played in Round-robin and knockout formats.
