Stokes , Crawley named in 17 member England squad for Pakistan series

England announced their 17 member squad for the 3 match test series against Pakistan which is scheduled to begin from October 7th onwards in Multan.

Ben Stokes who suffered a hamstring injury while playing in The Hundred this year return to the side as captain. He is still recovering from the injury.

Opener Zak Crawley who fractured his right little finger at Edgbaston also find a place in the squad. He missed the recently concluded test series against Srilanka along with their regular captain Ben Stokes.

England dropped Dan Lawrence and call up uncapped Brydon Carse and Jordan Cox for the series.

Spinner Jack Leach made his return to the test side after long injury layoff. He got injured while fielding in first test in Hyderabad when England tour India.

Josh Hull retain his position while Mark Wood unavailable for the rest of the year.
