Srilanka captain Chamari Athapaththu signs 3 year deal with Sydney Thunders ahead of WBBL 2024-25 which is set to begin on October 27^th.

Athapaththu, who played for Sydney Thunders last season finished the season with Player of the Tournament performance. She scored 552 runs at an average of 42.46 and took 9 wickets.
