Fifteen year old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made his India debut replacing Sanju Samson in the playing XI for this match. He scored 14 from 10 balls before being stumped off Will Jacks after stepping out to hit the ball.

Abhishek Sharma and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi gave India a quick start adding 50 runs in just 29 balls. Abhishek Sharma scored 43 off 24 balls hitting eight fours and one six.

Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan added 65 runs in 42 balls helping India build a strong total in the middle overs. Shreyas Iyer scored 37 off 22 balls while Ishan Kishan made 49 off 40.
From overs 14 to 18 India scored only 32 runs and lost two wickets slowing their innings before the finish. Sam Curran’s brilliance with the ball helps England restrict the run flow.
Tilak Varma’s quick 24 off 11 balls helped India finish strongly and set England a target of 191 runs.

Tom Banton and Jacob Bethell added 67 runs in 50 balls before Arshdeep Singh dismissed Banton for 39 runs.
