India will take on Srilanka in last match of Super 4 stage before final clash vs Arch rival Pakistan on Sunday. In 41 year history of the tournament it’s first time India and Pakistan faces each other in final. Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 11 runs to enter into the tournament decider.

Pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi (3/17 in 4 overs) , Harris Rauf (3/33 in 4 overs) and Saim Ayub (2/16 in 4 overs) helps Pakistan to restrict Bangladesh to 124/9 after setting them 136 run target.

Unbeaten in the tournament , India look to fix their issues in dead rubber. So far India dropped 12 catches which they need to address it quickly. In the last match India failed capitalize the start openers provided. The batting order became a talking point as Sanju Samson did not get a chance to bat even though India lost 6 wickets.

It’s a good opportunity for India to test their bench strength like they did against Oman during the group stage. Wicket keeper batter Jithesh Sharma and Rinku Singh are the only players in the squad did not got an opportunity to play.

India could opt to rest Bumrah , opening the door for Arshdeep or Harshit Rana to get valuable playing time.

There is no injury worries in Indian camp.

Srilanka brought Maheesh Theekshana and Chamika Karunaratne in last match but did not work out.
