India , South Africa , Srilanka to play ODI tri-series in Srilanka

India , South Africa and Srilanka set to play ODI tri-series in Srilanka in Arpril and May. Srilanka cricket announced it on Thursday (March 6). The series will kick start with host Srilanka taking on India on April 27th.

“Srilanka , India and South Africa will play a One-Day Tri-Nation-series during the months of April-May,” said a statement from Srilanka Cricket.

All matches of the series will be day games played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo from April 27 to May 11. Each team will play four group matches before top 2 teams play the final.

The series gives all teams to find the right combination before heading in to the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup which is scheduled to be held in India later this year.

Indian players currently participating in Women Premier League , Srilanka is playing white ball series against New Zealand while some South Africa players are also participating in WPL.
