Former India allrounder Sridharan Sriram appoints as Chennai Super Kings assistant bowling coach ahead of the Indian Premier League 2025. He will join the coaching staff led by Stephen Fleming (Head Coach) , Michael Hussey (Batting Coach) and Eric Simons (Bowling Coach)
Sriram represented India in 8 ODIs with highest score of 57 and took 9 wickets also. In Indian Premier League Sriram represented for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (2010) and Delhi Capitals (2011).

Sriram also have International experience with Australia cricket team from 2016 to 2022 and with Bangladesh cricket team as T20 consultant ahead of the Asia Cup , T20 World Cup and ODI Cricket World Cup.

In Indian Premier League he worked with Royal Challengers Bangalore , Delhi Capitals , Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants.
CSK have Ravichandran Ashwin , Ravindra Jadeja , Shreyas Gopal and Noor Ahmed as main spinners along with Deepak Hooda and Rachin Ravindra as spin bowling allrounders.
Chennai Super Kings retained Ruturaj Gaikwad , Mahendra Singh Dhoni , Matheesha Pathirana , Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dube. They buy players like Ravichandran Ashwin , Devon Conway , Khaleel Ahmed , Rahul Tripathi and Nathan Ellis in the mega auction.

In last IPL season CSK failed to make in to the playoffs , they finished fifth behind Royal Challengers Bangalore on net run rate. CSK will begin their IPL 2025 campaign against Mumbai Indians on March 23.
