India faces Pakistan in high voltage clash in ICC Champions Trophy as firm favorites. Pakistan is struggling with inconsistency and have been hammered with injuries. They need to beat India to stay alive for the semifinal.
India beat Bangladesh by 6 wickets in their opening match while Pakistan lost to New Zealand by 60 runs in their opening match of the tournament.

Pakistan batter Fakhar Zaman ruled out the tournament due to injury and Imam-ul Haq added to the squad as his replacement is expected to play against India. India on the other hand is expected to play the same XI they played against Bangladesh.
India and Pakistan so far played 135 ODI matches , India won 57 matches while Pakistan won 73 out of it. 5 matches ended in No Result. In Champions Trophy tournament both teams played against each other 5 times and India trail by 2-3.

Pakistan beat India by a huge margin of 180 runs in 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final. Recent form is in favor of India. India beat Pakistan in last 5 matches when both teams played against each other.
Weather is expected to be bright and sunny with dew may come in later .Pitch in Dubai will favor the slow blowers. The team winning the toss may chose to bat first.
“Look, I have heard lots of options and discussions going on. Other teams have too many spinners and we have lesser spin options. The teams play their game on their own strength. We have like a specialist three, I would say one of the best pace bowling options in today’s game with Shaheen , Naseem and Haris. It remind me of the 90’s. So I think reaching that level still they have time, but they have all the ability to repeat those sort of performances,” Aaqib Javed said.

“India-Pakistan has a long history. It’s an exciting contest when these two teams play. Everyone enjoys watching it. If so many people are happy to watch the match, then who are we to say that it is underhyped or over hyped?” Shubman Gill said.
