Team India will begin their chase for another ICC trophy at Dubai International Stadium , Dubai against Bangladesh. Team India will play all their matches at Dubai.
Team India under Rohit Sharma like to continue their good run in ICC tournament in white ball format. They reached the final in 2023 ICC ODI World Cup and won the T20 World Cup in 2024 held in West Indies and USA.

Historically Dubai pitch will help spinners and team India have five spinners in their 15 member squad. Cloudy weather expected for the day but chance for the rain is low. Teams will prefer to chase.
3-0 series win against England recently in the ODI series gives India clear picture about their playing XI. In this series Rohit Sharma , Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja regain their form. India likely to go with three spinners.
“We play this tournament as we’ve played any other tournament, whether it’s an ICC event or any other series we play for India. Playing for India means a lot to all of us. I think there is enough quality , depth and experience in the team for us to come here quite confident and be confident about what we want to do here. Then we will see how it goes,” Rohit Sharma said.
Shubman Gill who become the top ranked ODI batter in the world now will open the batting with India skipper Rohit Sharma.

“With Gill , we know the numbers are crazy. If you look at it, he’s been superb for us in the last 3-4 years. Obviously, there’s a reason he has been elevated to vice captain of the team as well. Hopefully , he has a great tournament , and it will eventually help us achieve the things we’re looking to achieve,” Rohit Sharma said at pre-match press conference.
Tanzid Hasan at top order , Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah are crucial for Bangladesh. Nahid Rana , The Bangladesh Express is likely to test highly talented Indian top order batters.
“Last year, when we played India in Bangladesh , we have some good memories from then. But that is past, I think if we play well tomorrow and execute our plan, we will have a good match tomorrow,” captain Najmul Hossain Shanto said.
India and Bangladesh so far played 41 ODI’s out of it India won 32 games , Bangladesh one 8 and 1 match ended in no result.
India played 6 matches in Dubai and won 5 out of it and one match ended in tie.
