Australian bowlers dominates India on day 1 of fifth test at Sydney Cricket Ground. Elected to bat first India bowled out for 185 and Australia finishes on 9/1 at stumps. Jasprit Bumrah lead the side in absence of Rohit Sharma.

India lost Yashasvi Jaiswal (10 runs from 26 balls) , K.L.Rahul (4 runs from 14 balls) and Shubman Gill (20 runs from 64 balls) on the last ball before Lunch. India batters scored only 57 runs in first session on tough Sydney pitch.
India star batter Virat Kohli kicked one off Boland straight in to the hands of Steve Smith on his first ball. A third umpire review , however , revealed that the ball first touched the ground before smith took the catch.

Virat Kohli finally lost his wicket to Boland. Debutant Beau Webster took his catch in third slip. He scored only 17 runs from 69 balls. Rishabh Pant (40 runs from 98 balls) and Ravindra Jadeja (26 runs from 95 balls) played a patient innings. Both added 48 runs from 151 balls for the fourth wicket.
Captain Jasprit Bumbrah’s (22 runs from 17 balls) cameo took India to 185. Allrounder Washington Sundar scores 14 runs from 30 balls.

Scott Boland shines yet again for Australia by picking 4 wickets for 31 runs in his 20 overs. Mitchell Starc (3/49 in 18 overs) , Pat Cummins (2/37 in 15.2 overs) and Nathan Lyon (1/19 in 6 overs) are the other wicket takers for Australia.
Australia batted for just 3 overs and they lost their opener Usman Khawaja (2 runs from 10 balls) to the stand-in-captain Jasprit Bumbrah. Bumbrah and Australia opener Sam Konstas had heated conversation before Bumrah dismissed Khawaja on last ball of the day.
