Star England batter Joe Root return to England ODI squad for the 3 match ODI series in February and the ICC Champions Trophy.

He last played for England in ODI format was the 50 over World Cup held in India in 2023.

England Test skipper and all-rounder Ben Stokes who is recovering from left hamstring was not considered for selection.

The white ball series in India will be the first for Brendon McCullum as head coach for all format.

Jofra Archer , Mark Wood , Saqib Mahmood , Gus Atkinson , Brydon Carse and Jamie Overton lead the England strong pace attack.

Harry Brook who missed Test series against India due to personal reasons included in both ODI and T20 formats.

Leg spinner Rehan Ahmed who made his test debut against India earlier this year included in T20I squad.

England will play 5 T20Is and 3 ODIs during their white ball tour to India.
