India batter Sai Sudharsan rejoins Surrey for the ongoing county championship in England. Surrey’s next two matches was against Lancashire and Nottinghamsire.

The Left hand batter featured in last championship match with Essex at the Kia Oval in June.

Surrey are currently top of Division 1 and are looking to win their third county championship title in a row.

In IPL 2024 he scored 527 runs in 12 innings at an average of 47.90 and strike rate of 141.28 for Gujarat Titans. He was their highest run getter in last season.

He made his ODI debut for India against South Africa at Johannesburg in December 2023 and T20I debut against Zimbabwe in July 2024.

The two county championship games will serve as good preparation for Sudharsan ahead of Duleep Trophy , which is scheduled to begin from September 5 in Bengaluru and Anatapur.

Sudharsan is part of Team C which will be captained by Ruturaj Gaikwad.
