India beat Oman by 21 runs and goes to the Super 4 with hat-trick of wins. India set Oman 189 run target and restricted them to 167/4 in 20 overs. Sanju Samson named Player of the Match for his knock of 56 runs from 45 balls.

Toss

India captain Suryakumar Yadhav won the toss and elected to bat.

India Innings

Abhishek Sharma (38 runs from 15 balls) and Sanju Samson (56 runs from 45 balls) given India the start need after the early fall of Shubhman Gill for 5. Shah Faisal bowled a beautiful delivery to rattle Gill’s stumps.

Jiten Ramanandi took the wicket of dangerous Abhishek Sharma for 38. He Knick one to the keeper Vinayak Shukla. In the same over Hardik Pandya was run out in the unluckiest manner at non strikers end. Sanju Samson’s straight shot hit the bowlers hand and went on to hit the stumps.

Sanju Samson went on to hit his third half century in T20 before he got out to Shah Faisal. Axar Patel (26 runs from 13 balls) and Tilak Varma (29 runs from 18 balls) also helped India to reach 188/8 in 20 overs.

Shah Faisal (2/23 in 4 overs) , Aamir Kaleem (2/31 in 3 overs) and Jiten Ramanandi (2/33 in 4 overs) are the wicket takers for Oman.

Oman Innings

Oman openers Jatinder Singh (32 runs from 33 balls) and Aamir Kaleem (64 runs from 46 balls) given them a solid start in the chase. Both together added 56 runs in 8.4 overs before Kuldeep provided India the first breakthrough.

Aamir Kaleem and Hammad Mirza (51 runs from 33 balls) given Oman hope of upsetting India with 93 run partnership from 55 balls. Finally , Pacer Harshit Rana took the wicket of Aamir Kaleem to broke the stand.

Indian bowlers were able to control the flow of runs at the end to restrict Oman to 167/4 in 20 overs.

Kuldeep Yadhav (1/23 in 3 overs) , Harshit Rana (1/25 in 3 overs) , Hardik Pandya (1/26 in 4 overs) and Arshdeep Singh (1/37 in 4 overs) are the wicket takers for India.

Arshdeep Took 100 T20I wickets

Arshdeep Singh becomes the first Indian bowler to took 100 T20I wickets. He achieved this feet in his 64th match when he took the wicket of Vinayak Shukla.
