India opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal moved to fifth position in ICC Test ranking for batters after his outstanding performance in recently concluded test series against England. His outstanding century (118 runs) in the fiifth test at The Oval helps him to climb 3 positions.

In the recently concluded 5 match test series against England Jaiswal scored 411 runs with an average of 41.10. He hit 2 hundreds and 2 fifties. 118 runs from 164 balls innings at The Oval was his highest.

Siraj and Prasidh Moved Up

Mohammed Siraj (9/190) who helped India wins the thriller at The Oval by 6 runs climbed 12 spots to reach 15th in ICC Test Bowlers Rankings. He was the leading wicket taker of India – England series with 23 wickets.

Pacer Prasidh Krishna moved 25 positions to reach his career best of 59th spot. He took 8 wickets at The Oval Test.

Gill and Pant moved down

Shubman Gill dropped four spot to 13th after his below par performance at The Oval. He scored only 21 and 11 in first and second innings respectively. He was the highest run scorer of the series with 754 runs in 10 innings.

Wicket keeper batter Rishabh Pant who missed the fifth test due to toe injury also dropped one place to eight.

England pacers gain career best Rankings

England Pacer Gus Atkinson reach top ten for the first time in his career. He shared the 10th position along with Australia’s Mitchell Starc. Josh Tongue also moved 14 positions to 46.
