Gujarat Titans beat Sunrises Hyderabad comfortably by 38 runs and jumbs to second spot in points table. They set Sunrises mammoth total of 225 and restrict them to 186/6 in 20 overs. Prasidh Krishna named Player of the Match for his outstanding spell off 2 for 19 in 4 overs.

Gujarat Titans opener Sai Sudharsan (48 runs from 23 balls) and captain Shubman Gill (76 runs from 38 balls) gives them off to a flying start by scoring 87 runs from 6.5 overs. Zeeshan Ansari broke the opening stand by dismissing left hander Sai Sudharsan.

Gill along with Jos Buttler (64 runs from 37 balls) added another crucial 62 runs from 37 balls for the second wicket before the controversial run out of Shubman Gill. It was unclear whether the wicket keeper Heinrich Klaasen’s glove or ball removed the wicket.

Washington Sundar (21 runs from 16 balls) also given useful contribution at the end to set 225 run target for Sunrises Hyderabad. Jaydev Unadkat (3/35 in 4 overs) , Pat Cummins (1/40 in 4 overs) and Zeeshan Ansari (1/42 in 4 overs) are the wicket takers for Sunrises Hyderabad.

Travis Head (20 runs from 16 balls) and Abhishek Sharma (74 runs from 41 balls) given perfect start in the chase by scoring 49 runs in 4.3 overs. Rashid Khan took a brillant catch off Prasidh Krishna to dismiss dangerous Travis Head.

Abhishek Sharma played a blistering knock of 74 runs from 41 balls including 4 fours and 6 sixes and kept Sunrises in the game before he got out to Ishant Sharma in 15th over. Gujarat made a strong come back in the game by dismissing Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen (23 runs from 18 balls) in consecutive overs.

Mohammed Siraj pushed Sunrises further back by dismissing Aniket Verma (3 runs from 7 balls) and Kamindu Mendis for a duck in consecutive deliveries of 17th over. Hyderabad fell short by 38 runs despite Nitish Kumar Reddy (21* runs from 10 balls) and Pat Cummins (19* runs from 10 balls) unbeaten 41 runs from 19 balls for the seventh wicket.

Prasidh Krishna was the pick of the bowler for the match. He picked 2 wickets for 19 runs in his 4 overs. Mohammed Siraj (2/33 in 4 overs) , Ishant Sharma (1/35 in 3.2 overs) and Gerald Coetzee (1/36 in 4 overs) are the other wicket takers for Gujarat Titans.
