Nat Sciver Brunt’s outstanding performance with both bat and ball helps Mumbai Indians beat UP Warriorz by 8 wickets. Mumbai Indians restricted UP Warriorz to 142/9 and chased down the target in 17 overs with 8 wickets remaining.
Put in to bat UP Warriorz lost their opener Kiran Navgire (1 run from 3 balls) early to Nat Sciver-Brunt. Grace Harris (45 runs from 26 balls) and Dinesh Vrinda (33 runs from 30 balls) added 79 runs from 52 balls for the second wicket before Amelia Kerr dismissed Grace Harris.
UP Warriorz lost their way after they lost Grace Harris and Dinesh Vrinda in quick succession. Mumbai took wickets at regular intervals and restricted them to 142/9 in their 20 overs.
