Women Premier League franchise teams have revealed their retention list ahead of 2025 auction. As per the WPL rules each team can have a squad of maximum 18 players with 6 overseas players.

Gujarat Titans released their experienced all-rounder Sneh Rana who captained them in inaugural season when their regular captain Beth Mooney missed out due to injury. Delhi capitals released leg spinner Poonam Yadhav and Australia batter Laura Harris.

Mumbai Indians have released their England fast bowler Issy Wong who took first WPL hat-trick in inaugural season. Wong played two games for Mumbai Indians in 2024 , took 3 wickets at an economy of 8.33.

Royal Challengers Bangalore released 6 players from their squad. They released South Africa batter Nadine de Klerk and acquired Danni Wyatt-Hodge via trade.
