IPL franchise team Gujarat Titans is expected to retain their skipper Shubman Gill , spinner Rashid Khan , opener Sai Sudharsan , all-rounder Rahul Tewatia and power hitter Shahrukh Khan ahead of IPL 2025 as per espncricinfo report.

To retain three international players and two uncapped player Gujarat Titans deducted around 51 crores from their overall purse amount of Rs.120 crore. The amount given to each player is still unknown.

If Gujarat Titans paid more than 51 crores to retain these players , higher amount will be deducted from their purse. These retentions will leave Gujarat Titans with one right-to-match (RTM) card option at the IPL mega auction.

All the franchises are supposed to submit the list of their retained player ahead of mega auction by October 31st , Thursday. Each team can retain 6 players out of which maximum of 5 can be capped and 2 uncapped.

The IPL governing body has set minimum deductions from the purse for each player retained , with Rs.18 crores for the first player , Rs.14 crore for the second player , Rs.11 crore for the third , Rs.18 crore for the fourth , Rs.14 crore for the fifth and Rs.4 crore for an uncapped player. Franchises can give more or less of these amounts to the players retained by them.
