Mohammad Yusuf quits PCB selection Panel (Image Credit:- X)
Former Pakistan cricketer and member of Pakistan cricket team selection committee Mohammed Yusuf has resigned from the post to concentrate on other roles within the board.
Yusuf was part of a six man selection committee revamped after Pakistan’s early exit from the Twenty 20 world cup held in USA and West Indies this year.
Yusuf was also served as head coach of Pakistan’s U-19 team in the ICC U-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup held in South Africa. They finished third in the tournament.
“It was an honor to contribute to the team’s success. I resign as a selector for the Pakistan Cricket team due to personal reasons. Serving this team was a privilege, and I am proud to have played a part in Pakistan Cricket’s growth,” Mohammed Yusuf said.

Pakistan’s next assignment is against England in a 3 match test series which is scheduled to held in Multan from October 7th onwards. Recently Pakistan lost to Bangladesh for the first time in test series.
