India women vs Australia women 3 match ODI series set to begin in Wankhede from December 28th onwards. Team India will be high on confidence after creating history by beating Australia for the first time in tests in recently concluded test series.

For India Saika Ishaque , Shreyanka Patil , Mannat Kashyap and Titas Sadhu received their maiden ODI callup for the series. Renuka Singh and Richa Ghosh also returned to the ODI squad. Priya Punia , Devika Vaidya , Anjali Sarvani , B Anusha , Meghna Singh , Rashi Kanojiya and Monica Patel are the players dropped from the ODI squad.

“We had a long chat with the selectors about looking Ahead to the World Cup and building towards it. That is why we have a mix of experienced players and ones who are either making their debut or who are two-three games old. We are going into the series with bigger picture in mind,” India head coach Amol Mazumdar said.

India last played an ODI series in July against Bangladesh which ended in 1-1. Australia on the other hand played 12 ODIs this year and beat West Indies 2-0 at home in october.

All three ODIS of the series will be played in Wankhede stadiu , Mumbai and match will begin on 01:30 PM (IST) / 08:00 AM (GMT).
