Australia were 187/3 in rain hit day one of second test at stumps. Marnus Labuschagne (44* runs from 120 balls) and Travis Head (9* runs from 19 balls) were at the crease. Only 66 overs were bowled all the day due to rain.

David Warner (38 runs from 83 balls) and Usman Khawaja (42 runs from 101 balls) given Australia a good start after put into bat by Pakistan. Warner is lucky that he was dropped by Addullah Shafique off Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Agha Salman given Pakistan the first breakthrough by dismissing David Warner on the first ball of the last over before lunch. At lunch Australia were 90/1.

Hasan Ali dismissed Usman Khawaja (42 runs from 101 balls) after lunch to push Australia to 108/2. Steve Smith (26 runs from 75 balls) and Marnus Labuschagne (44* runs from 120 balls) batted patiently for the third wicket partnership of 46 runs from 148 balls.

Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne ended the day for Australia without any further loss of wicket. Both put together 33 runs from 50 balls so far for the fourth wicket.

Agha Salman (1/5 in 3 overs) , Hasan Ali (1/28 in 14 overs) and Aamer Jamal (1/47 in 14 overs) are the wicket takers for Pakistan for the first innings so far.
