India vs Pakistan super 4 clash in Asia Cup goes into the reserve day due to rain. India were 147/2 in 24.1 overs at end of the day. No overs will be lost and it will be a 50 over side if rain didn’t interpret the game on Monday (Sep 11th).

Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and put India into bat. Indian openers Rohit Sharma (56 runs from 49 balls) and Shubman Gill (58 runs from 52 balls) gives India a dream start by scoring 121 runs in 16.4 overs for the first wicket.

Shubman Gill was dropped twice by Pakistan fielders. Shaheen Shah Afridi dropped a tough chance of the first ball Gill faced and in the 8th over they failed to grap the opportunity when ball passed through slips.

Shadab Khan given Pakistan the much needed breakthrough after going for plenty of runs in first 2 overs he bowled. He dismissed Indian captain Rohit Sharma who hit him 3 sixes and 2 fours.

S Gill got out to a slow ball off Shaheen Shah Afridi in the next over. Virat Kohli (8* runs from 16 balls) and K.L.Rahul (17* runs from 28 balls) were at the crease when rain forced to extend the game to reserve day.

Shadab Khan (1/45 in 6.1 overs) and Shaheen Shah Afridi (1/37 in 5 overs) are the wicket takers for Pakistan so far.
