Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma completes ten thousand ODI runs in his 241st innings. He becomes the second fastest cricketer to achieve the milestone after V Kohli who achieved the milestone in 205 innings.

Rohit hit a six against Kasun Rajitha to achieve the landmark. He became the 6th Indian and 15th overall batter to reach 10,000 ODI runs.

Rohit sharma so far scored 10,031 ODI runs including 3 double hundreds , 30 hundreds and 51 half centuries in 248 India appearance with average of 48.93. He achieved this landmark in his 50th ODI against Srilanka at R Premadasa stadium, Colombo.
