Arshdeep’s 3/35 and Washington Sundar’s unbeaten 49 from 23 balls powered India to a 5 wicket win, leveling the series. After the first T20 ended with no result, Australia beat India in the second match.

Australia won the toss and elected to bat first
Australia Innings
Batting first, Australia lost Travis head(6) and Josh Inglis(1) cheaply, struggled to build early momentum. Left arm pacer Arshdeep Singh took both the wickets for India. Tim Davis’s blistering innings gave Australia the much-needed momentum after a shaky start.

In the eighth over, Varun Chakravarthy struck twice in succession to bring India back into the game. He dismissed Australia captain Mitchell Marsh (11) and Mitchell Owen for first ball duck.

Tim David continued to attack Indian bowlers before eventually falling to Shivam Dube. He scored 74 runs from 38 balls including 8 fours and 5 sixes. After his dismissal Marcus Stoinis took the control with his explosive innings. Arshdeep Singh dismissed him for 64 in the final over of the innings.
Matthew Short (26* runs from 15 balls) innings at the end also helped Australia to post 186/6 in 20 overs.
Wicket Takers for India
Pacer Arshdeep Singh impressed as India’s top bowler, claiming 3 wickets for 35 runs in his 4 over spell. Varun Chakravarthy (2/33 in 4 overs) and Shivan Dube (1/43 in 3 overs) are the other wicket takers for India.
Once again Bumrah bowled an economical spell giving just 26 runs in his 4 overs.
India Innings
Abhishek Sharma once again gave India a brisk start, scoring 25 runs off just 16 balls. Nathan Ellis dismissed both Indian openers , Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill (15 runs from 12 balls) inside the powerplay.
Suryakumar(24) , Tilak Varma (29) and Axar (17) got good starts but couldn’t convert them into big scores.

Washington Sundar’s innings of 49 runs from 23 balls guided India past the finishing line. Jithesh Sharma supported him well, contributing a quick 22 runs off just 13 balls. Both scored 43 runs from 25 balls for the sixth wicket.
