Prabhsimran Singh (69 runs from 39 balls) and Shreyas Iyer (52* runs from 30 balls) fifties helps Punjab Kings register back to back wins in IPL. They chased down 172 run target set by Lucknow in 17th over with 8 wickets remaining.

Elected to field , LSG got dangerous Mitchell Marsh for a duck in the first over of the innings bowled by left arm pacer Arshdeep Singh. They also lost Aiden Makram (28 runs from 18 balls) and captain Rishabh Pant (2 runs from 5 balls) inside the powerplay.

At the end of the powerplay they were 39/3.

Nicholos Pooran (44 runs from 30 balls) and Ayush Badoni (41 runs from 33 balls) added 54 runs from 40 balls for the fourth wicket before Yuzvendra Chahal dismissed Nicholos Pooran. David Miller(19 runs from 18 balls) and Abdul Samad’s (27 runs from 12 balls) cameo at the end took them to 171/7 in 20 overs.

Arshdeep Singh went for 43 runs in his 4 overs but took the wickets of Mitchell Marsh , Ayush Badoni and Abdul Samad. Glenn Maxwell (1/22 in 3 overs) , Lockie Ferguson (1/26 in 3 overs) ,Marco Jansen (1/28 in 4 overs) and Yuzvendra Chahal (1/36 in 4 overs) are the other wicket takers for Punjab Kings.

Spinner Digvesh Singh Rathi took the wicket of Priyanash Arya (8 runs from 9 balls) early defending 172. Prabhsimran Singh played a blistering innings of 69 runs from 34 balls including 9 fours and 3 sixes.

Captain Shreyas Iyer unbeaten knock of 52 runs from 30 balls including 3 fours and 4 sixes and impact player Nehal Wadhera’s 43* runs from 25 balls with 3 fours and 4 sixes helps Punjab to reach the target in 16.2 overs.

Captain Shreyas Iyer added 84 runs with Prabhsimran Singh for the second wicket and added unbeaten 67 runs with Nehal Wadhera for the third wicket. Digvesh Singh Rathi (2/30 in 4 overs) is the only wicket taker for Lucknow Super Giants.
