Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Delhi Capitals comfortably by 8 wickets and moves to the top of the table in Women Premier League 2025. RCB bowled out Delhi Capitals for 141 and chased down the target in 16.2 overs.
Jemimah Rodrigues (34 runs from 22 balls) along with captain Meg Lanning (17 runs from 19 balls) steadied Delhi Capitals after loosing Shafali Varma for duck in the first over of the innings bowled by Renuka Singh Thakur

Royal Challengers Bangalore bowlers put pressure on Delhi batters by picking wickets at regular intervals. Sarah Bryce (23 runs from 19 balls) and Annabel Sutherland (19 runs from 13 balls) got decent start but failed to make a big impact.
Renuka Singh Thakur shines with the ball for RCB by picking 3 wickets for 23 runs in her 4 overs. Legbreak bowler Georgia Wareham also picked 3 wickets for 25 runs in 4 overs. Kim Garth (2/19 in 3.3 overs) and Ekta Bist (2/35 in 4 overs) are the other wicket takers for RCB.

Chasing 142 run target RCB openers Smriti Mandhana and Danni Wyatt-Hodge’s 107 run opening stand made thing easy for RCB in chase. Captain Smriti Mandhana played an outstanding innings of 81 runs from 47 balls including 10 fours and 3 sixes.
Danni Wyatt-Hodge scored 42 runs from 33 balls with 7 fours in her innings. Ellyse Perry (7* runs from 13 balls) and Richa Ghosh (11* runs from 5 balls) remains not out. Richa Ghosh finish the game for RCB with a six over deep backward square leg.
