Australia women beat India women by 83 runs in the third and final ODI of the series at Perth and whitewash the series 3-0. After setting 299 run target Australia bowled India out for 215 in 45.1 overs.

After elected to field first Arundhati Reddy’s (4/26 in 10 overs) outstanding spell pushed Australia to 78/4 in 16.1 overs after openers Phoebe Litchfield (25 runs from 33 balls) and Georgia Voll (26 runs from 30 balls) put together 58 runs in 10.1 overs.

Annabel Sutherland’s (110 runs from 95 balls) outstanding century , Ashleigh Gardner (50 runs from 64 balls) and captain Tahlia McGrath (56* runs from 50 balls) helped Australia to reach 298/6 in 50 overs.

India lost wickets at regular intervals after the second wicket partnership broken by Alana King by dismissing Harleen Deol. India finally bowled out for 215 runs and fell short by 83 runs.

Allrounder Ashley Gardner done most of the damage for India by picking 5 wickets for 30 runs in his 10 over spell.
