Bowlers help India beat Pakistan by 6 runs in a low scoring thriller at Nassau County International Stadium , New York. After being bowled out for 119 in 19 overs India restricted Pakistan to 113/7 in 20 overs.

The start of the match was delayed due to rain. The rain began to fall 90 minutes before schedule start time. Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and put India into bat. Rain forced to stop the match after just one over of India innings.

After the game resumed Naseen Shah dismissed Virat Kohli (4 runs from 3 balls) in the third ball of his first over. In the next over Shaheen Shah Afridi sent back India captain Rohit Sharma for 13 runs from 12 balls.

Rishabh Pant (42 runs from 31 balls) and Axar Patel (20 runs from 18 balls) who came to bat at No.4 added 39 runs from 30 balls for the third wicket. Naseem clean bowled Axar Patel to give Pakistan the break through again.

India were 81/3 at the end of the half way stage of the innings. Pakistan pace bowlers done a remarkable job to bowled India out for 119 in 19 overs. India lost last 7 wickets for a mere 30 runs.

Haris Rauf (3/21 in 3 overs) , Naseem Shah (3/21 in 4 overs) , Mohammad Amir (2/23 in 4 overs) and Shaheen Shah Afridi (1/29 in 4 overs) are the wicket takers for Pakistan.

Chasing 120 run target Pakistan lost their captain Babar Azam (13 runs from 10 balls) in the fifth over to Indian pace spear head Bumbrah. Batters really struggled to score big on tough New york pitch.

Pakistan were 57/1 at the end of 10 overs. Like India batters Pakistan batters also struggled to score freely especially in the second half of the innings. Bumbrah’s outstanding spell also helped India to restrict Pakistan to 113/7 in 20 overs.

Opener Mohammad Rizwan (31 runs from 44 balls) was the top scorer for Pakistan. He was lucky that Shivam Dube dropped him when he was batting on 7 off Bumbrah.

Jasprit Bumbrah (3/14 in 4 overs) , Hardik Pandya (2/24 in 4 overs) , Axar Patel (1/11 in 2 overs) and Arshdeep Singh (1/31 in 4 overs) are the wicket takers for India.
