Captain K.L.Rahul (82 runs from 53 balls) and Quinton de Kock (54 runs from 43 balls) innings helped Lucknow Super Giants 8 wickets win over Chennai Super Kings. They chased down 177 run target set by CSK in the 19th over.

After elected to field first LSG pacer Mohsin Khan bowled a brilliant delivery to clean bowled CSK opener Rachin Ravindra for a golden duck. Ruturaj Gaikwad (17 runs from 13 balls) who walks to bat at No.3 added 29 runs off 19 balls along with Rahane before he knicked one to K.L.Rahul off Yash Thakur.

Spinner Krunal Pandya then pushed CSK back by dismissing well set Ajinkya Rahane (36 runs from 24 balls) off the first ball of his spell. The innings of Ravindra Jadeja (57* runs from 40 balls) , Moeen Ali (30 runs from 20 balls) and the cameo of M.S.Dhoni (28* runs from 9 balls) helped them to finish their innings strongly.

CSK batters scored 71 runs in the final 5 overs which took them to 176/6 in 20 overs.
