Sam Curran (63 runs from 47 balls) and Liam Livingstone (38* runs from 21 balls) guided Punjab to 4 wicket win over Delhi. They chased down 175 run target set by Delhi in the final over with 4 wickets remaining. Sam Curran named Player of the Match.

Australian players David Warner (29 runs from 21 balls) and Mitchell Marsh (20 runs from 12 balls) given Delhi a quick start by scoring 39 runs in 3.2 overs. Arshdeep Singh given Delhi first breakthrough by dismissing Mitchell Marsh.

Shai Hope (33 runs from 25 balls) who made his debut in IPL was the top scorer for Delhi. Pant who played last match in December 2022 before he suffered multiple injuries during a serious car accident made a comeback and scored 18 runs from 13 balls.
Punjab bowlers picked wickets quickly and pushed Delhi back. Axar Patel (21 runs from 13 balls) and Abishek Porel (32* runs from 10 balls) cameo’s helped Delhi to finish strong in their innings. Delhi scored 25 runs in the final over bowled by Harshal Patel.
