Gujarat Titans beat Mumbai Indians by 6 runs in another last over thriller. Chasing 169 run target Gujarat Titans restricted Mumbai to 162/9 in 20 overs. Sai Sudharsan named Player of the Match for his knock of 45 runs from 39 balls.
Elected to field first Mumbai Indians pacer Jasprit Bumrah who came to bowl as first change dismissed Gujarat Titans opener Wriddhiman Saha (19 runs from 15 balls) with a beautiful yorker to give first breakthrough for his side. Openers added 31 runs in 4 overs for Gujarat.

Captain Shubman Gill (31 runs from 22 balls) along with Sai Sudharsan (45 runs from 39 balls) added 33 runs from 22 balls before Gill got out caught in the boundary line by Rohit Sharma while trying to hit a ball for a six off Piyush Chawla.

Jasprit Bumrah bowled a beautiful slow ball to dismiss dangerous David Miller (12 runs from 11 balls) and then dismissed well set Sai Sudharsan (45 runs from 39 balls) in the 17th over when they look to finish the innings strongly.
Rahul Tewatia’s (22 runs from 15 balls) cameo in the end helped Gujarat to reach 168/6 in 20 overs.

Jasprit Bumrah (3/14 in 4 overs) once again bowled an exceptional spell for Mumbai Indians. He picked the wickets of Wriddhiman Saha , Sai Sudharsan and David Miller. Gerald Coetzee (2/27 in 4 overs) and Piyush Chawla (1/31 in 3 overs) are the other wicket takers for Mumbai.
Mumbai Indians lost their opener Ishan Kishan (0 run from 4 balls) to Azmatullah Omarzai in the first over of the innings chasing 169. Naman Dhir who came to bat at No.3 in the absence of Suryakumar Yadhav 20 runs from 11 balls before he was trapped in front off the stumps by Omarzai again.

Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma (43 runs from 29 balls) and Dewald Brevis(46runs from 38 balls) put together 77 run partnership from 55 balls for the third wicket. Sai Sudharsan trapped Rohit Sharma in front of the stumps to broke this partnership.
Gujarat Titans kept things tight after Rohit Sharma’s dismissal and Mohit Sharma took a brillant caught and bowled to dismiss Dewald Brevis (46 runs from 38 balls) in the 16th over.

Needed 19 to win from the final over Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya hit a six and four in the first 2 balls. Umesh Yadhav made a strong comeback in next 4 balls by giving just 2 runs and picked the wicket of Hardik Pandya and Piyush Chawla to give Gujarat thrilling 6 run win.
