RCB beat Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets to lift their first Women Premier League. After restricting Delhi to 113 runs they chased it down in 19.3 overs with 8 wickets remaining.

Elected to bat first Delhi openers Shafali Verma (44 runs from 27 balls) and Meg Lanning (23 runs from 23 balls) given Delhi a very healthy start by scoring 64 runs in 7.1 overs.

Left arm spinner Sophie Molineux then dismissed Shafali Verma , Jemimah Rodrigues and Alice Capsey in one over and shift the momentum in RCB favour.

Shreyanka Patil trapped Delhi captain Meg Lanning in front of the stumps for 23. Delhi lost wickets quickly and bowled out for 113 runs from 64/0 at one stage.

9 out of 10 Delhi wickets taken by RCB spinners. Shreyanka Patil (4/12 in 3.3 overs) , Sophie Molineux (3/20 in 4 overs) and Asha Sobhana (2/14 in 3 overs) are the wicket takers for RCB.

RCB openers Smriti Mandhana(31 runs from 39 balls) and Sophie Devine (32 runs from 27 balls) given RCB a decent start by scoring 49 runs in 8.1 overs. Shikha Pandey broke the opening stand by trapping Sophie Devine in front of the stumps.

RCB captain Smriti Mandhana along with Ellyse Perry added 33 runs for the second wicket before Minnu Mani dismissed Smriti Mandhana when they needed 32 more from last 5 overs.

Ellyse Perry (35* runs from 37 balls) and Richa Ghosh (17* runs from 14 balls) helped RCB to cross the line in the final over.
