Jurel and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi brilliance keeps Rajasthan unbeaten

Dhruv Jurel (81* off 43) and Viabhav Sooryavanshi (78 off 26) power Rajasthan to beat RCB, remaining unbeaten. Royal Challengers Bengaluru set Rajasthan a 202 run target, which they chased comfortably, securing victory in the 18th over. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was named Player of the Match for his explosive innings, delivering a match winning performance with remarkable batting brilliance.

Jofra Archer started the match after rain delay with a beauty delivery dismissing Phil Salt, setting tone perfectly. After an early setback, a quick 45 run second wicket partnership between Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal set the start RCB needed. Jofra Archer once again provided the breakthrough Rajasthan needed, dismissing in form Devdutt Padikkal for 14.

Star batter Virat Kohli, looking in excellent nick scored 32 off 16 before missing Ravi Bishnoi delivery that rattled his stumps. RCB lost wickets at regular intervals and they stumbled to 125 for 7 in 14 overs. Rajat Patidar played a captain’s knock of 63 runs off 40 balls, including four fours and four sixes. Romario Shepherd scored 22 off 11 while impact player Venkatesh Iyer (29* off 15) took RCB to 201/8.

Josh Hazlewood dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal for 13 in second over, giving RCB an early breakthrough advantage. Once again, 15 year old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi played a sensational innings for Rajasthan, provided them with a solid foundation for the chase. In his knock of 78 runs from just 26 balls he smashed eight fours and seven sixes.

Krunal Pandya dismissed Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Shimron Hetmer in consecutive deliveries, before Josh Hazlewood removed Riyan Parag next over, giving RCB hope.

Wicket keeper batter Dhruv Jurel produced a match winning knock of 81 runs from 43 balls, guiding Rajasthan to a crucial victory. Ravindra Jadeja provided him solid support with a steady 24 run knock off 25 balls. Both batters added 68 runs for the fifth wicket in 50 balls.
