After commanding wins in first two T20Is against Srilanka, Team India eye a series win in Thiruvananthapuram. Greenfield International stadium is set to host its first ever women’s international cricket match in Thiruvananthapuram this historic occasion.
In the first T20I India chased 122 runs set by Srilanka in 15th over with eight wickets remaining. In the second T20I, India chased 129 in the 12th over, losing just 3 wickets to clinch victory comfortably.

However, Srilanka must quickly regain their rhythm, otherwise they will struggle to effectively challenge India. A win is must for Srilanka to stay alive in the series.

Deepti Sharma is all set to return to the playing XI after missing the second match. The all-rounder suffered a mild fever, which kept her out of the previous match. Batter Jemimah Rodrigues missed the training session ahead of clash, raising doubt about her availability for match.
“Jemi had a little bit of issue. She is fine, but resting today. Physios are monitoring her,” coach Amol Muzumdar said.
