India aims to go 2-0 up in Mullanpur T20I

After dominating the first T20I, Team India aims to secure a strong 2-0 series lead with another confident win. Mullanpur is set to host it’s first men’s international match, marking a historic milestone for the stadium.

The stadium previously hosted two Women’s One Day Internationals between India and Australia. Eleven IPL matches, including two high stakes playoff games, have previously been hosted here, showcasing its growing prominence in cricket.

“India is set to play its first ever men’s international match at the PCA Mullanpur Stadium. The match has generated huge excitement, with many tickets already sold. This time new features have been added, including dedicated stands for Yuvraj Singh and Harmanpreet Kaur. Organizers are making efforts to make this match a unique experience for fans,” PCA President Amarjit Singh Mehta said.

Allrounder Hardik Pandya’s outstanding show with both bat and ball powered India to comfortable win in Cuttack. Captain Suryakumar Yadhav and Shubman Gill’s continued poor form with the bat has become a major headache for India. Both players will be desperate to come out with much-needed scores and help ease growing pressure.

Team India are likely to continue with their playing XI from the last match. No injuries have been reported in Indian camp ahead of the match, keeping the full squad available for selection.
