Sony Pictures Network India (SPNI) signed seven year broadcast deal with New Zealand cricket (NZC) for all international games in the country for Indian audience. Currently international cricket in New Zealand is broadcast in India through Amazon Prime whose deals ends this summer.

The deal will come into effect from May 1 2024 to April 30 2031. All matches will also available on Sony’s digital platform i.e SonyLiv.

“It’s fair to say this is a significant commercial agreement, Sony has a large presence in the Indian market on both linear and digital platforms and we are looking forward to along and mutually beneficial partnership. It’s been a great experience working with the SPNI team while finalizing these arrangements,” NZC’s GM Commercial Chris Smith said.

SPNI’s digital rights in India will be shared with Amazon prime for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons. Indian men’s team will tour New Zealand in 2026-27 and 2030-31.
