Team India take on Australia in a crucial league match aiming to secure a semifinal spot with a win today. Australia have almost secured a semifinal place with a better run rate while India and South Africa remain in contention. If South Africa beat Bangladesh and India beat Australia the team with better run rate will reach the semifinals.

India and South Africa have six points each after winning three of their four matches in the tournament so far. India lost to South Africa while South Africa suffered their only defeat against Australia.

A settled playing XI is still missing while India also miss Shreyanka Patil after her injury ruled her out.
