Kolkata Knight Riders beat Sunrises Hyderabad by 8 wickets to lift their third IPL title in MA Chidambaram stadium , Chennai. They bowled out SRH for just 113 runs and chased it down in 10.3 overs with 8 wickets remaining.

Elected to bat first Sunrises lost Abhishek Sharma (2 runs from 5 balls) in the first over of the innings. Starc bowled a beautiful outswinger to clean bowled Sharma. Travis Head was dismissed by Vaibhav Arora in the second over for a golden duck.

Sunrises Hyderabad lost wickets at regular intervals and didn’t got any momentum in their innings. Captain Pat Cummins (24 runs from 19 balls) and Aiden Makram (20 runs from 23 balls) are the top scorers for them.

All 6 KKR bowlers picked up 1 wicket in their first over of their spell. Andre Russel (3/19 in 2.3 overs) , Mitchell Starc (2/14 in 3 overs) , Harshit Rana (2/24 in 4 overs) , Varun Chakravarthy (1/9 in 2 overs) , Sunil Narine (1/16 in 4 overs) and Vaibhav Arora (1/24 in 3 overs) are the wicket takers for KKR.

Pat Cummins dismissed KKR opener Sunil Narine (6 runs from 2 balls) in the second ball of the second over after hitting a six in the first ball of his spell.

Venkatesh Iyer (52*runs from 26 balls) and Rahmanullah Gurbaz (39 runs from 32 balls) tokk the game away from SRH with their partnership of 91 runs from just 45 balls. Shahbaz Ahmed trapped Gurbaz infront of the stumps when KKR needed just 12 more to win.
