India beat South Africa by 2 wickets and enter into fifth straight ICC U-19 world cup final. This is India’s 9th appearance in the final. India chased down 245 run target in the 49th over of the innings. Captain Uday Saharan named player of the match for his knock of 81 runs from 124 balls.

Elected to field first pacer Raj Limbani dismissed opener Steve Stolk (14 runs from 17 balls) and David Teeger (0 run from 2 balls) inside the 10 overs. Lhuan-dre-Pretorius (76 runs from 102 balls) and Richard Seletswane (64 runs from 100 balls) put together 72 runs from 133 balls for the third wicket before Musheer Khan dismissed Lhuan-dre-Pretorius.
Oliver Whitehead (22 runs from 34 balls) , Juan James (24 runs from 19 balls) and cameo of Tristan Luus (23* runs from 12 balls) in the end helped South Africa to reach 244/7 in 50 overs.
Indian spinners Musheer Khan (2/43 in 10 overs) and Saumy Pandey (1/38 in 10 overs) kept things tight in their spell. Raj Limbani (3/60 in 9 overs) is the highest wicket taker for India in the match. Naman Tiwari picked one wicket for 52 runs in his 8 over spell.

Chasing 245 run target India lost Adarsh Singh in the first ball of the innings. Tristan Luus dismissed Musheer Khan (4 runs from 12 balls) , Arshin Kulkarni (12 runs from 30 balls) and Priyanshu Moliya (5 runs from 10 balls) quickly to push India to 32/4 in 11.2 overs.
Sachin Das (96 runs from 95 balls) and captain Uday Saharan (81 runs from 124 balls) brought India back by putting together 171 run partnership from 187 balls for the fifth wicket. Maphaka bowled a beautiful slow delivery to dismiss Sachin Das.

Maphaka then dismissed Aravelly Avanish (10 runs from 18 balls) when India still needed 19 more from 19 balls. Raj Limbani’s cameo (13* runs from 4 balls) and captain Uday Saharan who batted till India need 1 more to win helped India to reach another U-19 world cup final.
Kwena Maphaka (3/32 in 10 overs) and Tristan Luus (3/37 in 10 overs) are the wicket takers for South Africa.
In the final India will play against the winners of second semifinal between Australia and Pakistan.
