Jadeja likely to miss Rajkot test , K.L.Rahul may return

India all rounder Ravindra Jadeja who was ruled out of the second test due to harmstring injury might miss the Rajkot test which is scheduled from February 15th. K.L.Rahul who is currently in National Cricket Academy might recover in time for the third test.

Already 1-0 down in the five match test series against Ben Stokes England side team India will be missing key players. K.L.Rahul , Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammad Shami will not be available due to injury and Virat Kohli withdrawn from first two tests due to personal reasons.

Jadeja suffered a hamstring injury and K.L.Rahul complained about right quadriceps pain during the first test. Middle order batter Sarfaraz Khan , left arm spinner Saurabh Kumar and allrounder Washington Sundar have been added to India’s squad for second test.

It may take three to eight weeks for Jadeja to recover fully from harmstring injury. The allrounders injuries in the recent past is a concern for team India. K.L.Rahul’s injury is not that much serious and he might return for the third test.

Mohammad Shami who is undergoing treatment in London for his ankle injury may miss the entire test series against England.
