
The Women in Blue takes on Srilanka for the Asia Cup title in Dubai on Sunday in a big final. Seven times champions India chase their eight while Srilanka chase their second. In the 2024 edition, Srilanka beat India in the final to win their first Asia Cup title. The match will begin at 08:00 PM, Indian Standard time.
Spinners have played a key role in Women’s T20 Asia Cup so far especially on Dubai slow pitches. Allrounder Deepti Sharma and Chamari Athapaththu lead the wicket takers list with 11 wickets each in the tournament so far. India’s Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana lead the batting with 168 and 154 runs respectively.

Both India and Srilanka have reached the final unbeaten. In the first semifinal, India beat Bangladesh by 40 runs while Srilanka defeated Pakistan by four wickets in semifinal two.
