Delhi Capitals edge Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Final over Thriller

In the final over thriller, Delhi Capitals beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru by six wickets with one ball remaining. Tristan Stubbs(60*) ,  Rahul (57) and Miller (22*) in final over helps Delhi chase down 176.

Stubbs named Player of the Match for his knock of unbeaten 60 runs from 47 balls.

Toss

Axar Patel won the toss and ask RCB to strike first.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Innings

Phil Salt and Virat Kohli gave RCB a good start adding 52 runs for the opening wicket partnership. Lungi Ngidi provided Delhi the first wicket by dismissing Virat Kohli for 19.

Opening batter Phil Salt in good rhythm took RCB forward along with Devdutt Padikkal, building a steady partnership. Salt scored 63 off 38 balls while Devdutt Padikkal made 18 from 13 balls.

After Phil Salt and Devdutt Padikkal were dismissed in quick succession, Delhi bowlers made a strong come back. RCB batters found it tough to get going in the final overs and were restricted to 175/8.

Tim David scored 26 runs from 17 balls.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar rocked Delhi Capitals, picking three wickets for just 9 runs in his first 2 overs. K.L.Rahul and Tristian Stubbs steadied Delhi Capitals with a crucial 69 run partnership for the fourth wicket.

K.L.Rahul went on to score 57 runs off 34 balls before Krunal Pandya eventually got rid off him.

Axar Patel and Tristian Stubbs added 47 runs from 35 balls before Patel retired hurt on 26 runs. David Miller and Tristian Stubbs finished the game in the final over with an unbeaten 45 runs partnership off 24 balls.

With 15 required in the final over bowled by Romario Shepherd, Miller smashed 6,6,4 after two singles to finish.
