Mumbai Indians lost to Rajasthan Royals by 6 wickets in their 250th IPL game. This is their third straight loss in this season. Rajasthan Royals restricted Mumbai Indians to 125/9 in 20 overs and chased it down in 15.3 overs with 6 wickets remaining.

Mumbai lost 4 wickets inside first 3.3 overs for just 20 runs on the board. Rohit Sharma , Naman Dhir and Dewald Brevis got out to Trent Boult for golden duck. Nandre Burger bowled a beautiful delivery to dismiss Ishan Kishan (16 runs from 14 balls).

Captain Hardik Pandya (34 runs from 21 balls) and Tilak Varma (32 runs from 29 balls) done the rescue act for Mumbai by putting together 56 runs from 36 balls. Yuzvendra Chahal pushed Mumbai back by dismissing both of them.

Yuzvendra Chahal (3/11 in 4 overs) and Trent Boult (3/22 in 4 overs) picked 3 wickets each. Nandre Burger (2/32 in 4 overs) and Avesh Khan (1/30 in 4 overs) are the other wicket takers for Rajasthan Royals.

17 year old Kwena Maphaka dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal(10 runs from 6 balls) in the first over of Rajasthan chase. Akash Madhwal then dismissed Rajasthan captain Sanju Samson (12 runs from 10 balls) and Jos Buttler (13 runs from 16 balls).

Riyan Parag (54* runs from 39 balls) who came to bat at No.4 took his team home with his second consecutive half century this season. Ashwin scored 16 runs from 16 balls and Shubham Dubey remains not out on 8 along with Parag.

Akash Madhwal (3/20 in 4 overs) and Kwena Maphaka (1/23 in 2 overs) are the wicket takers for Mumbai Indians.
