RR spinner Yuzvendra Chahal (1/28 in 4 overs) bowled economically and picked the wicket of Mahipal Lomror. Ravichandran Ashwin (1/36 in 4 overs) also bowled decently but pacers Trent Boult (2/41 in 4 overs) and Sandeep Sharma (2/49 in 4 overs) picked 2 wickets each but they were expensive in their spell.
Yashasvi Jaiswal (47 runs from 37 balls) and Devdutt Padikkal (52 runs from 34 balls) partnership of 98 runs from 66 balls set the platform for RR in the chase. RCB push them back by dismissing both of them in quick succession.
Sanju Samson (22 runs from 15 balls) got out at crucial juncture of the game and they lost S Hetmyer (3 runs from 9 balls) cheaply who failed to deliver in this match.
Dhruv Jurel (34* runs from 16 balls) batted well for RR but he didn’t got most of the strike in final over bowled by Harshal Patel when they need 20 more to win.
