India and Australia will face each other for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 final in Narendra Modi Stadium , Ahmedabad on Sunday (November 19th). India aims for the third and Australia their sixth World Cup title. Both teams met in the final before 20 years back in 2003 which Australia won by 125 runs.

India played some ruthless cricket and remains unbeaten in the tournament so far. Australia on the other hand made a good come back after loosing the first two games in the tournament. India beat Australia by 6 wickets in their opening game of the tournament.

Indian batters are in good form in the tournament so far. Virat Kohli (711) , Rohit Sharma (550) , Shreyas Iyer (526) , K.L.Rahul (386) and Shubman Gill (350) scored runs for their side. Indian bowling attack also in good form with Shami leading the pack with 23 wickets including best of 7/57 in semifinal against New Zealand followed by Jasprit Bumrah (18) , Ravindra Jadeja (16) , Kuldeep Yadhav (15) and Mohammad Siraj (13).

For Australia David Warner (528 runs) scored most runs for them followed by Mitchell Marsh (426) and Glenn Maxwell (398). Leg spinner Zampa is the leading wicket taker for them with 22.
