Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets and keeps their semi final hopes alive. With this loss Bangladesh knocked out of the World Cup. Pakistan bowled Bangladesh out for 204 and chased it down in 32.3 overs with 7 wickets remaining. This big win helps to improve their net run rate also.

Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed Bangladesh opener Tanzid Hasan for a duck in the fifth ball of the first over and completes 100 international ODI wickets in his 51st match. Bangladesh lost Najmul Hossain Shanto (4 runs from 3 balls) and Mushfiqur Rahim (5 runs from 8 balls) also cheaply inside first 6 overs for just 23 runs.

Mahmudullah (56 runs from 70 balls) and Litton Das (45 runs from 64 balls) put Bangladesh on track with 79 run partnership in 89 balls. Iftikhar Ahmed given Pakistan the break through by dismissing Litton Das.

Shakib Al Hasan (43 runs from 64 balls) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (25 runs from 30 balls) given useful contribution to their side. Mohammad Wasim wraps up the Bangladesh tail quickly to bowled them out for 204 in 45.1 overs.

Mohammad Rizwan (26* runs from 21 balls) and Iftikhar Ahmed (17* runs from 15 balls) remains not out. Mehidy Hasan Miraz (3/60 in 9 overs) is the only wicket taker for Bangladesh.
