Indian men’s cricket team won Asian games gold after the final called off due to rain. Afghanistan won the silver medal and Bangladesh won bronze.

Afghanistan were 112/5 in 18.2 overs when the rain interrupted the match. Afghanistan lost 5 wickets for 52 runs in 10.2 overs. Shahidullah (49* runs from 43 balls) and Gulbadin Naib (27* runs from 24 balls) rescued them with 60 runs partnership from 45 balls.

Shivam Dube (1/4 in 1 over) , Ravi Bishnoi (1/12 in 4 overs) , Arshdeep Singh (1/17 in 3 overs) and Shahbaz Ahmed (1/28 in 3.2 overs) are the wicket takers for India.

For the bronze medal clash between Bangladesh and Pakistan match reduced to 5 overs due to rain. 65 run target set for Bangladesh in 5 overs after Pakistan scored 48/1 in 5 overs.

20 runs needed in the final over Yasar Ali hit 6,2,6,2 in the first 4 balls and got out in 5th ball. 4 required in final ball Rakibul Hasan held his nerve to hit the boundary off Sufiyam Muqeem to give Bangladesh bronze medal.
